• It was fun cooking with Nate. I had no idea he was a great cook until today, and I enjoyed every second spent in the kitchen with him. It also gladdened my heart because it was a way of reducing work for the maid, and seeing the excitement on her face when I served her food told me that I made the right decision coming here to cook today.
• "I didn't know you were so good at cooking," I broke the awkward silence as we ate in the dining room later, and he raised his gaze to look at me, and smiled.
