Chapter 21

• Her heart was filled with excitement as the cab drives her home. At least, she's finally going to be leaving the house for work even if it's just for q short moment.
• Arriving at the front of the gate later, she hops out of the car and pays the man, but turning around to head to the building, she stops abruptly when she spots Nate standing with his hands tucked into his pockets. She hasn't stopped to think about what happened yesterday. How he's suddenly now her neighbor is what she hasn't brought herself to digest.
• "I have been calling you, but you didn't answer your phone. Where did you go?" He asks once she stops in front of him.
