Chapter 23

• Her heart beats rapidly against her chest as she stares at the building in front of her. She has just arrived at the restaurant where the dinner appointment is supposed to hold.
• 'What if she goes in there, and gets bullied again as usual? Will she be able to handle it? What if they don't want to see her because they feel like she's ugly?' She thinks to herself. As much as she wants to turn back because she feels she can't do this, on second thought, she knows she has to do this if she wants to earn a living for herself. It's her first job opportunity and letting her insecurity make her lose it is the last thing on her mind.
• "You have to accept whatever you see in there," She whispers to herself, then takes a deep breath before she walks elegantly toward the entrance door. Although she's fat, she's still smart enough to walk elegantly.
