• Since I don't have any other choice, I made up my mind to accept mom's offer, and I would have to travel to Texas and maybe stay there forever because there was no way she would let me away once I get there.
• 'I accept your offer, mom. I will relocate to Texas in one month, can you unfreeze my account now?' Those are the words that were so hard to spill out, but I eventually did, because I wanted to help my friend. I can't watch her continue to live like this in pain or let her get entangled with the man again.
