• Waylen called me. No, he didn’t scream or call me names, which was surprising, but not as surprising as him asking us to meet. I tried not to appear affected while waiting for him in my office, but I had already turned the AC to the highest degree, yet I still sweated under my arms. Pacing the office didn’t help much. Was Beth okay? That was the only reason he would call me.
• I stopped at each end of my office, trying to find a bug or hidden camera but came up with nothing. That Monday was the first and last time I hallucinated, but I couldn’t risk it. Last week, I had a crew come in and sweep the place but they found nothing. It must be Waylen’s presence that unnerved me.
