Chapter 69 A Frozen City
- Not only did Nadia set up an electric blanket for herself, but she also made sure Colby had a small one, placing it on the beanbag chair and plugging it into the power bank. She turned on two electric heaters, and the room warmed up quickly. Dusty and Snowball, feeling the warmth, crawled out of the foam box and tried to snuggle onto the beanbag chair, vying for space with Colby. Displaying his big-hearted nature, Colby allowed them to nuzzle against him for warmth, everyone huddling together.
- When Nadia checked the foam box, she found two of the larger rabbits had died, likely from shock. The others looked a bit sluggish, though the newborn kits seemed oblivious, unaware of the danger around them. Dusty and Snowball, likely hardened by Colby's rough play, had grown quite brave. Bundled in their tiny outfits, they were unfazed and had little interest in taking care of their babies.
- Nadia gently placed the kits onto Colby's warm belly and scolded the two adult rabbits, "You had them, so you should take care of them."
