Chapter 343 Crossing the Acid Rain to See You

  • As the smog began to lift, Nadia had already retrieved three sets of acid-proof suits from her domain and placed them in the villa. She had told everyone to stay inside and, if they absolutely had to go out, to wear the protective gear.
  • The suits she had stocked up on were thick and heavy, top-of-the-line protection. Even if sulfuric acid was poured on them, they'd hold up. The only downside? They were cumbersome as hell. Carrying them around casually? Practically impossible.
  • Nadia hadn't slept well that night, waking up countless times to the relentless patter of rain. When she opened her eyes in the morning, the rain hadn't let up. She couldn't predict how long it would last—maybe ten days, maybe more. Even when it stopped for a brief moment, it would start up again almost immediately, like clockwork.
