Chapter 224 Nadia, There Are People Looking For You

  • The sound was faint, but the alarm remained silent. Nadia listened attentively, and immediately recognized the footsteps. Harrison entered, Colby at his side, both covered in a thick layer of dust and drenched in sweat. "How did it go?" She offered him water to wash up. "Were you able to rescue anyone?" Harrison peeled off his soiled clothes, revealing his well-defined chest. "Yeah, we saved more than ten people. Tyler had a solid plan, ensuring we took mandatory breaks every hour. Colby did an excellent job. It detected the scent of survivors, guiding us straight to them. Without that, we would have wasted a lot of time and effort."
  • As he entered, Nadia had already sized up Colby. The dog appeared to be in good spirits, and its protective gear—the stab-resistant suit—was unharmed, with no signs of damage or injury to its paws either. Harrison laughed, "Colby’s sharp—he sticks strictly to search duties. Any extra movement would be a mistake on his part." Nadia gave him a playful tap. "So, you're saying he resembles you?" He replied with a chuckle, "No, I think it's working perfectly." She teased, giving him a mock glare, "You're really getting good with your words. Colby’s so impressive, but what about Tyler's Molly?"
  • This question was meaningless. A poodle wasn't meant to handle rescue operations without any specialized training. Molly just followed Colby around aimlessly. Tyler meant well, but poor Molly couldn’t keep up—it was more of a distraction than a help. While Harrison was showering, Nadia rummaged through his backpack. The water was all gone, but the first aid kit hadn’t been touched. She let out a relieved sigh. It seemed like he had things under control.
