Chapter 15 The Long-awaited Rescue
- Nadia went to the balcony in her sleepwear. While the typhoon was still raging, the wind was beginning to subside as the rain intensified. The second level was fully flooded with the water climbing up to the third, causing chaos in the corridor.
- Nadia had cooked breakfast—wraps with fried egg, ham, vegetables, and tomato sauce, which remained warm and crisp after being removed from the space and smelt delicious. She had prepared over a hundred inside the space which should sustain her for a while; they were still greasy despite tasting good. Afterward, she browsed her sophomore pharmacy major book while drinking her honey pomelo tea.
- A knock came on the door around ten. She had thought it to be Jasmine but was taken aback at the sight of the man from 1801 as he was usually reserved and quiet. They had not even talked despite Lily's constant visits, which sent her alarm bells ringing.
