• “I’m okay.” I breathed as I rushed towards my waiting husband when I came to the dining hall. “Just feeling a little sick when I got out of bed but I am feeling better now.”
• Evander gave me a helpless look as he pulled a chair near him for me to sit on. Kian and Shei watched Evan with a smile on their faces. I had a feeling Evan had already told them that we were expecting. There was a glimmer in Shei’s eyes, knowing she would be an aunt soon.
