• It wasn’t a dream.
• It was a warning.
• The very first transformation—my shifting into my werewolf form was excruciating beyond explanation. I felt everything. Every part and detail of it as my muscles grew and my bones increased in size and snapped into place. I kept on repeating that the pain was just all in my head and I had to endure it to save my mate.
