• My eyes blazed with a furious fire as I surveyed the scene before me. Maya, my beloved pet, stood trembling with a bleeding forehead, a stark contrast against her pale shivering skin. I reined in Stormy which is the name of my big black horse, my knuckles whitening against the leather straps.
• "Mason, I asked you to bring her back, not to hurt her! How dare you harm my pet!" My voice thundered across the clearing, cutting through the tension like a knife. The anger in my voice sent shivers down the spines of everyone present in my private horse ranch.
