Back in the private room, Layes and James Parker were both in a stare down, it is because James Parker already began to questioned Layes capability, it matter not to him how much Layes had been loyal and capable in the past, he believed that if Layes could not bring to him what he wanted at the time he wanted it, then Layes is useless to him.
As for Layes, he is angry that James Parker had no completely forgotten about his past glories and loyalty, he is angry and disappointed that just one failure and James Parker is ready to sell him to the dust.
