• Boom the bombshell was dropped by Lucas, everybody was all surprised at that information, Gory cliff was so high that if accidentally you fell from it, you would give up the ghost instantly, but Lucas was okay after been shot and also fell from the cliff.
• Many people began to whispered between themselves, some in admonition, some in contempt, some in disbelief, some even turned to looked at Harold with an accusation look on them. But seeing Lady Ryan also in shock, they believed that she was also involved in accident too.
• But no one dare talked or even accused Harold or Lady Ryan, at least they knew that talking might spell doom for the family who dare talk.
• Cassie dropped the gift in her hand, she ran toward Lucas with a worried look in her eyes.
• “If you are this wounded, you should have visited the hospital.” She said worriedly.
• Lucas only smiled at his wife, his strange expression turned to love when it looked at Cassie.
• “I must bring you the gift first, I knew how much you will suffer if I don’t get the gift.” Lucas said with much sincerity.
• Cassie screamed loudly. “What kind of joke was that? You are shot and you could die.”
• Lucas only smiled more seeing how concerned that Cassie was, he put out his hand to hold Cassie to himself first, but Cassie was already behind him, she put his arm around her own shoulder and tried to support him.
• “We are going to the hospital now.” She said in a stern tone.
• Lucas scoffed wickedly, yet his helpless expression was very visible to the crowd. “But Grandma birthday.”
• “You are wounded and needed immediate care.” Cassie looked at the gift which she threw away. “At least people can testify that I brought something. “
• Cassie supported Lucas out of the seat. Lucas as well decided to play along, though this was not the real Lucas, it was just a different soul inhabiting Lucas body.
• But that souls knew how much Cassie loved her husband, just that they had never consummated their wedding, not because Cassie didn’t allowed the previous Lucas, but the previous Lucas was too timid to approach his wife, and Cassie was also too innocent to initiate any intimacy.
• The new Lucas had never been this intimate with another person in his previous life, now he have someone that he can be intimate with, he decided to savored his new life to his taste, in fact he vow never to destroyed this new life, even though he wanted revenged, but he would gladly give it up, only if that will be a disruption to his new life.
• Lucas hand deliberately fall on Cassie ass, it felt so soft to his touch that he wished to place his hand there forever. Cassie also stopped like she stepped on an electric wire, and her expression was both happiness and shock.
• “Is your hand also hurt that it cannot stay on my shoulder?” Cassie asked, her face was red from embarrassment.
• “I actually ran all the way here just to deliver the gift to you, so I am too weak to even raised my hand now, I can’t even hold it upward.” Lucas replied in looking so helpless tone.
• Everybody in the hall almost vomit blood as a result of Lucas shamelessness, at least everybody saw him looking so gallant a few seconds ago, now just to touch his wife ass, he had to result to such method.
• “Lucas you don’t need the pretense, just say you wanted to play with your wife ass. Why blamed it on your accident and injury.” Jonathan said in contempt.
• Even before Jonathan finished speaking, some of the family already agreed with him, they see Lucas acting as top rating. Come to look at it, how come a man who was full of energy just few minute ago, suddenly turned weak the next minute? At least they all saw his grandiose entry, and thy all saw him talking back at Harold.
• Cassie on her own can only continued outside with Lucas hand on her ass which was also making her to blush in shyness.
• “Stop every one of you. Lucas was my husband and she can flirt with me at his own leisure, he owns me and I also own him too.” She managed to say all together.
• Hearing Cassie supported his shamelessness, Lucas decided to go all out, he even grappled the meaty ass in his hand.
• “Will you stop all this lovey dovey act of yours in my presence?” Lady Ryan voice rang over, Lucas shamelessness was causing her to become more aggressive at every passing seconds, she stood up angrily.
• “This was my birthday, so you dare not take my show away from me.” Lady Ryan said finally.
• Lucas laughed inside himself, he actually knew how much Cassie and her family suffered in the hand of Lady Ryan, he wanted nothing than pay the old witch back in her own coins, he wanted to anger her to death.
• “But Grandmother, I ran all the way here just to deliver a gift for you, even though I am injured, I ran here just to present Grandmother a gift, I even defy death and stay alive just because I must present a gift to Grandmother. It necessary my injury relapse and I become weak.” Lucas said all together, he said each word with much helplessness, just like someone who cheated of his right.
• Lucas words infuriated Lady Ryan to death, she was angry at how Lucas looked so helpless in which she was not.
• “Are you trying to say that Grandmother cared more about gift?” Micky voice rang over from her seat.
• “Practically saying Grandmother was a material lover.” Harold also add.
• “No I don’t mean it that.” Lucas said and raised his hand up in the air, he frowned and continued. “I was just saying the gift was so important to Grandmother, and I don’t want her to scold me and my wife, so I have to bring a gift over come rain come death, that is why I don’t mind my injury, I don’t even find a cab, so I ran all the way here.” Lucas said finally, at the same blinking his eyes like a ten years old weak child. “At least that soud be
• “I don’t care for your gift, I don’t care for any gift, in fact all of the gifts given to me today were all trash, and I will throw them all away.” Lady Ryan said all together.
• Boom. Lucas finally forced Lady Ryan to a dead end, and he forced her to shot herself in the leg by calling all her well-wishers bunch of trash
• “Grandmother.” Harold and Micky said together.
• “Mother.”The Sons and Daughter all said together.
• Even the in-laws as well are taken aback and called out Mother at the same time, most of them spend a fortune just to prepared a gift, yet it was nothing but trash to the old woman.
• Lady Ryan also realized her mistake and her leg almost gave way under her, she even fell back onto her stool, luckily Harold and Micky are near to supported her, none of the guest even care about her at all. Lady Ryan cursed Lucas generation to come, her blood was boiling and she wished to strangled Lucas to death.
• Yet Lucas was not done with her, he wanted Lady Ryan to be angered to death, if possible, she should just bite her teeth and give up the ghost.
• “Wife I think this is enough, even Grandmother said we are all trash, we have to take back out gift at all cost.” Lucas said.
• Immediately the weak Lucas gained back strength, he walked towards the paper bag and picked it up, he walked back to Cassie who was still stunned at the turn of effect, his tone changed again.
• “Wife, can you help me out of here, my injury is really making me weak more than ever.” Lucas said finally.
• The whole crowd almost go crazy with anger, those with a weak heart already fainted as a result Lucas feeding them with too much bullshit. Lady Ryan could only swore at Lucas, in fact she was vomiting blue of because she already bite her teeth, all in the name of fury.
• Jonathan was part of the ones with a strong heart, but he was really stunned at Lucas act of shamelessness. But he was not angry at Lucas, instead he was glad having him today as son-in-law. He actually remembered how much he suffered under his mother, but today, he saw his mother miserable because of much anger, it was indeed a sight for him, and his own son-in-law was that source of the anger.
• “Indeed an injured man, so strong to battle word, and weak just because he wanted to flirt with his wife.” Jonathan said silently. He finally stood up and bowed to his mother.
• “Mother, since you see me as a trash, then there was no reason for me to stay any longer, maybe when you are eighty one, I will no longer be a trash.” Jonathan bowed again in contempt.
