• Three days later, Old Mr. White’s home was swarming with people who came to attend his 70th birthday party. Many White relatives showed up to wish the old man and join in the celebration. Old Mr. Clive White greeted his guests in a dapper looking three-piece suit. He sported a full ivory beard, setting him apart from most guests and making him easily distinguishable. His face was flush with excitement from the night’s events so far as he took in the crowd below from the top floor. He was extremely delighted to have all of his children and grandchildren altogether in one room today, a true blessing from the heavens above. As he chit-chatted with his guests, he could not help but reminisce about his younger days.
• Time flew by quickly, and before he realized, it was already time to sit down and have a meal. As most of the guests took their seat at the dining table, Jett Grayson walked into the compound for the second time in his life. The first time he had ever stepped foot in Old Mr. White’s home was during his wedding to Chloe. Most of the guests looked at Jett with disdain in their eyes. After all, Jett was a shameful disgrace to the Whites. When he was sent to jail, the Whites had become a laughingstock in all of Freedonia and their businesses took a turn for the worse.
