Chapter 50

• "The doctor will like to see you Mr. Liam" A nurse said to Liam who was sitting in the hospital waiting room, lost in thought. Lucy, Asher, and Stanley were all sitting nearby, and Lucy started to rise from her seat, ready to follow Liam to the doctor's office. But Liam knowing it would be about the DNA results held up his hand, telling her not to follow him.
• No matter how much Lucy and Asher questioned Liam about his sudden change in demeanor, he remained silent. Lucy even apologized to Asher for her earlier behavior thinking that was the reason behind Liam's coldness but Liam still remained withdrawn and distant.
• "Welcome Mr Liam". The doctor greeted him with a warm smile. But Liam was too preoccupied with his own thoughts to return the greeting. He sat down in the chair across from the doctor, his leg bouncing up and down nervously. All he could think about was the test results.
