Asher's pov
My husband woke up very early this morning and started getting dressed to leave the house. I had made up my mind to secretly follow him and find out where he was going, because I was determined to uncover the truth about his cunning behavior over the years. I was so prepared to spy on him.
Yesterday's phone call made me realize that I had to take action and find out the truth. It wasn't the first time my husband had been making calls secretly, but this time it felt different. His laughter with the unknown caller seemed too intimate, too familiar. I couldn't shake the feeling that something was going on behind my back. The idea that he might be having an affair was too painful to consider, but I had to know for sure.
