Chapter 300

• His gaze smoldered, his dark eyes catching mine in the mirror. With a coy smile, I pressed back against him, shivering as he tugged my hair again, harder this time, sending sparks through me.
• “I’m fairly sure I said you could pull off ‘just about anything,’” I teased, despite being fully at his mercy, locked in his hands. Though I knew my training would allow me to push him away if I wanted, the thought never crossed my mind.
• I gasped when the hand that had been resting on my waist, traveled up the nightgown I wore. I stiffened in his arms when I felt his hand tighten even further in my hair. My legs were trembling now, the anticipation proving to be far too much. His fingers were attracted to the wetness between my thighs, and gave me long strokes that made my breathing cease all together. As he felt how truly affected, I was, he groaned into the hollow of my neck.
