• "Say something," Teo begged. I laid motionless on the bed. It had been another one week; I barely ate; I had not said a single word since I lost my child. No matter what he did or said, yes, he still had sex with me, but he didn't seem to enjoy that anymore, mostly because I wasn't reacting to anything. This was the only way I could escape this place. I lived in my mind. I was here physically, but mentally, I was absent.
