Chapter 2

  • (Cara POV)
  • “He is a total dick,” Sophia cursed out. “How could he do that to you?”
  • “Maybe I’m not beautiful enough,” I say, shrugging as if that statement didn’t hurt or bother me when it really did.
  • “No, I won’t let you stay here all day crying over him because he sure as hell doesn’t deserve your tears and I know a way to cool you out. Let’s go to a club. You find a man and spend a night with him”
  • I rolled my eyes. Sophia was my friend, but our lifestyles were two words apart. She believed alcohol and sex could cure anything, but I wasn’t in the mood for a party right now let alone meeting with another man.
  • “And how would going to the club and finding a man help me? I don’t need that right now Sophy, I just need to give myself a few hours of sleep and rest”
  • “No Cara, he treated you like garbage, you are doing this to tell yourself that you are far ahead of him, he don’t get to make you a mess why he goes fuck a whore on the bed you two shared, fuck him Cara, now I want you to put on those big girl's panties because we are going to a bar and I would be getting you a man to make you forget the little bitch that thinks he is a man,” she says, if only she knew that a single day with any guy can’t make me forget the years I wasted loving Jake, but still yet, she was right, he didn’t deserve my tears, damn he didn’t deserve me, maybe I could just drown myself in alcohol and sooth the pain I’m feeling now.
  • “You know what, Sophy?, fuck him, fuck that ass-licking bitch of a man and we are going to the party”
  • “That’s the spirit girl,” she said with a wide smile, happy she had finally convinced me, like always.
  • ~
  • Two hours later, it was already midnight, I and Sophia arrived at the club in very revealing dresses that made me feel weird. We quickly paid the taxi before walking towards the club.
  • “Shit, we aren’t with our ID cards, forgot mine in my purse,” I say to her, pausing.
  • “Oh, come on, all you need to do is flash this big boys over there a sexy smile and they’ll let you in,” she said, but I wasn’t convinced. As soon as we reached the door, Sophy nodded to me as she drew down her dress a little to expose more of her cleavages and that was enough to let the both of us in.
  • “Wow, that was amazing”
  • “Girl power. So first things first you need a drink,” she said as she lead me to the bar. The bar attender was handsome with brown curly hair. He stared at me a second too long.
  • “What would I be getting for you beautiful girls?” he asked, his eyes still on me.
  • “Something real strong,” Sophia answered with a wink and that made the bar attender smirk. ,"And she's single now," Sophia said pointing at me, causing me to instantly blush.
  • “How could a girl like you still be single?” he asked, surprised. I decided not to mention Jake. Thinking about him alone hurt. I needed those strong drinks fast.
  • “Well, I’m always busy,” I say, waving him off and he went to work, mixing strange liquids.
  • “What are you doing Cara? You came here to have fun,” Sophia whispered to me.
  • “And I will have fun,” I decided. The bar attender dropped the two glasses before us.
  • “Consider your drinks covered,” he said to me with a play-boyish smirk.
  • I took mine, gulping it all at once. Sophia looked surprise but there was a smirk on her face as she passed me her own drink and soon I believed I was far beyond tipsy.
  • “Check out that hottie sitting over there,” Sophia said to me and I turned to see him, staring a second too long, long enough that he caught me.
  • “He caught me staring,” I muttered back to Sophy as I tried to hide my face.
  • “He’s like the sexiest guy I’ve ever seen. You should go for him”
  • “What?” I asked surprised.
  • “You did want to have fun, don’t you? Now he’s just there and oops, I think you got his full attention cause now he’s like watching you intently... that hot hot gaze is all on you girl”
  • I turn around again; he was seated at the VIP section and she was right, he was like the sexiest man on the planet another reason why I shouldn’t go for him, he must have a girl friend somewhere and if he needed to have fun he would have picked any of the girl at the club but he didn’t and he was staring straight at me with so much intensity that I could feel the heat building up, my heart pounding fast, what the hell was wrong with me, I have never reacted to a man like that, not even Jake, just by looking at him I already had many unkind pictures going through my head.
  • “I can’t go for him”
  • “Why!”
  • “Because, just take a look at him and all those guys he’s with, they look really dangerous with their black tuxedo and all, I don’t think they are here for any of ‘that’ kind of fun”
  • “Come, he’s watching you. All you have to do is just walk up to him and offer to give him a lap dance. Any man would be crazy to reject that and from a person like you, no man would reject it and besides, you promised to enjoy yourself and forget about Jake”
  • “A lap dance?, you know I’m bad at those kinda stuff” I should have known that it won't be all easy for me like she made it seemed when she was talking me into coming here.
  • “You have to prove to yourself that you are way more than what Jake took you for. I want you to have fun and thank me later”
  • If only she knew that Jake was nowhere in my mind anymore and that by just staring at this strange hot guy alone, it was enough to bring up feelings I have never felt, ever.
  • “Okay” I agree, maybe it was the alcohol cause I would never dare attempt a thing like this in my right senses, I wobble around a bit in my drunken state and I turn back to Sophie who gave me a thumb up so I walk more slowly this time to him, afraid I might fall on my butt and disgrace myself, but he’s also watching me with the most beautiful sets of emerald green eyes I’ve ever seen, the perfect skin and thick black hair that he tied at the nape of his neck and I wondered how unfair it was for a human being to be created with so much beauty, finally I walked up to him, he doesn’t say a word and I feel this need to walk past him and pretend I was never coming his way but it was too late, the other two men seating beside him were also watching me, I couldn’t chicken away now, his presence alone was doing some weird things to me and it was getting incredibly hard to breathe.
  • “Can I interest you in a lap dance?” I ask with a smile and to my surprise, he acutally smirked and for a minute I’m lost in his eyes until his words snap me out.
  • “Who am I to refuse a beautiful girl like you” and just those simple words are enough to weaken my kneels, still I manage to walk closer and take my position on his laps, I couldn't help but notice how perfect it felt, the other two men say nothing, they were completely mute there was just something strange about them and that only enticed me more, I’ve never been the type to run straight to danger but this sort of danger was alluring.
  • The song changed, it was actually my favourite song and then I began rocking my hips round his body, hoping I’m doing it well and not looking as foolish as I picture it to be, but then his hands circled around my waist, holding me closer to him and I feel a strange kind of shock as soon as he’s skin made contact with mine, I wondered if it was all in my mind, it might be the alcohol playing tricks on my mind, his hands so warm and hot... so masculine and beautiful, it felt so good against my skin as he trailed his hands up my throat, I could feel myself get wet and he smirk, like he knew, but that was impossible, right?
  • There was a sound that rumbled from his chest when I went a little closer and I could feel him hardened against me, I thought that sounded like a something an animal would make, but his hands on my waist rocking me against him couldn’t let me think about that, never have I wanted a man like I wanted him now, this was going far beyond a lap dance, his hands trailing up my thighs, to my wettness expertly like he had already memorized ever single inch of me as soon as his hands found my wetness he made that sound again and that seemed to snap me out, that did sound more like an animal than the first. The song stopped and I was about to rise to my feet, that’s if my kneels were not too week to walk, but then he held me down, I try again but it seemed useless, he was extremely strong and that’s when the alarm bell seem to blow up in my mind, this people were really dangerous and why the hell did I pick him out of all the men in the club.
  • “Mine,” he growled in my ears and there was something about the word that made me more wet- if that was even possible.
  • “I don’t belong to anybody” I managed to say, but my voice was really small and I sounded afraid, well that was because I was afraid.
  • I looked towards Sophia to help me out, but she didn’t seem to get the info, I tried again to escape from his arms and this time he let’s me go, I almost trip over my own feet when I hastened away from him, all I knew for sure was that there was something really dangerous about those people and I shouldn’t be in this party a second longer.
  • As I gasped for breath, I made my way to Sophia, who was completely absorbed in a conversation with a nice looking man. Judging by the way she looked at him, I was convinced she had plans to spend the night with him.
  • “We have to go, quickly” I say to her, sparing one more glance at the handsome and charming freak, he was still watching me... like he could hear me all the way from over there, that was impossible. “Now!” I say to Sophia, who watched me strangely and then looked over to the handsome weirdo and back to me.
  • “What the hell is going on?, like you were both sexy dovey and now you look afraid, did he hurt you?” she asked staring at me in concern.
  • “No, he didn’t, let’s just go” I say, and she nodded, kissing the stranger she had been talking to good bye before following me out of the club and into a taxi, only when we were a safe distance away did I finally let out a breath.
  • What the hell just happened?
