• Anthony has been awake for a while and his condition was getting better over the days. Aurora had come back home and we were on a “greeting basis” now. Things were a bit still awkward between us and I was yet to confess my feelings to her since the day Alfredo kidnapped her at the hospital.
• “Matteo,” Aurora’s voice rang breaking my thought and I saw her head peek into my office doors. Her eyes searched mine, a mixture of hope and uncertainty. “Can I come in for a minute , I won’t take your time.”
