Chapter 6
- THIRD PERSON POV
- Gamma Josephine paced back and forth in her private chambers, deep in thought. The weight of the situation with Victoria was heavy on her mind.
- On one hand, she felt a strong sense of duty and loyalty to the pack and its Alpha, Alpha Magnus. On the other hand, she knew that Victoria was innocent and did not deserve the unjust treatment she was receiving.
- As a Gamma, Josephine held a position of authority and respect within the pack. She was expected to support Alpha Magnus's decisions and maintain the order and harmony of the pack. But she couldn't shake the feeling that blindly following the Alpha's judgment in this case would be a grave mistake.
- "I must find a way to help Victoria," Josephine muttered to herself, feeling torn between her duties and her conscience.
- She knew she had no right to challenge the Alpha but however, Josephine couldn't simply stand by and watch an innocent member of the pack suffer. She believed in justice and fairness, and she knew that a hasty decision made out of anger and pride could lead to irreversible consequences.
- Gamma Josephine thought of a plan while she paced around.

- Gamma Josephine thought of a plan while she paced around.
- She knew she had no right to challenge the Alpha but however, Josephine couldn't simply stand by and watch an innocent member of the pack suffer. She believed in justice and fairness, and she knew that a hasty decision made out of anger and pride could lead to irreversible consequences.
- She decided to go back to the dungeon to have a talk with Victoria.
- Gamma Josephine's decision was clear. With a sense of conclusion, she made her way to the dungeon where Victoria was being held. The journey through the pack's territory felt heavier than usual, knowing that the fate of an innocent member rested on her actions.
- She walked into the dungeon but was blocked by the guards there. "No visitors allowed, Alpha order!" They said,
- Gamma Josephine felt a surge of frustration and concern as she faced the guards blocking her path. She understood their commitment to following Alpha Magnus's orders, but she knew that she had to find a way to talk to Victoria.
- "Please, it's crucial that I speak with Victoria," Gamma Josephine said, trying to keep her voice calm and persuasive.
- The guards hesitated, unsure of how to proceed. Gamma Josephine was a respected member of the pack, and her request carried weight. However, disobeying direct orders from the Alpha could have serious consequences.
- "Be fast about it!" The guards said letting her in.
- When she arrived at the cold and damp dungeon, she found Victoria sitting alone, her expression filled with fear and uncertainty. Gamma Josephine approached her with a warm and reassuring smile after speaking to the guards.
- She watched as Victoria limped towards her with cuts and bruises on her face.
- Gamma Josephine's heart sank as she saw the state Victoria was in. The sight of the cuts and bruises on her face only strengthened her resolve to help the innocent wolf who had been wrongly accused.
- "Gamma Josephine, I don't know what I have done to deserve any of this honestly!" Victoria said weakly.
- Victoria looked up at Gamma Josephine with tears in her eyes, clearly grateful for her presence. "Victoria I believe you but you have to do something for me, later tonight you have to escape from here!" Gamma Josephine uttered.
- Victoria's eyes widened with surprise at Gamma Josephine's unexpected suggestion. "Escape? But how? The guards are watching every move I make," she whispered, her voice trembling with fear.
- Gamma Josephine's expression was resolute as she replied, "I have a plan. During the night, when the guards change shifts, there will be a small window of opportunity. I will create a distraction to draw their attention away from your cell. When that happens, you must seize the moment and slip away quietly."
- "Thank you, Gamma. But won't that put you in danger? I don't want anyone else to suffer because of me."
- "I'll be fine," Gamma Josephine reassured her. "My priority is to ensure your safety. You don't deserve to be punished for something you didn't do, and I won't stand by and let it happen."
- "Thank you, Gamma. Your bravery means the world to me," Victoria said,
- Gamma Josephine spent the rest of the day preparing for the night's plan. She discreetly gathered information about the guard shifts and the layout of the pack's territory surrounding the dungeon.
- The weight of her decision bore heavily on her shoulders, but she knew that she had to take this risk to ensure that Victoria doesn't get killed.
- As the night descended upon the pack's territory, the tension in Gamma Josephine's heart intensified. She knew that the moment was close, and her actions could have significant consequences for both herself and Victoria if she get caught.
- As the guards change shifts and darkness enveloped the pack's territory, Gamma Josephine set her plan into motion. She ventured out to the outskirts of the pack's domain, seeking a secluded spot where she could create a diversion that would draw the guards' attention away from the dungeon.
- She began howling loudly, mimicking the sound of a rival pack approaching the territory. The guards, on high alert, rushed to defend their territory, leaving the dungeon momentarily unguarded.
- Victoria quietly slipped out of her cell with the spare key Gamma Josephine had handed to her secluded a while ago, she made her way towards the designated escape route.
- Gamma Josephine continued her howls, ensuring the guards remained occupied. Her heart raced with anticipation and worry as she hoped that Victoria could escape without any complications.
- Meanwhile, the guards were still preoccupied with the perceived threat. Gamma Josephine maintained her howls, not daring to stop until she was sure Victoria had safely reached a point far away from the dungeon.
- As the rival pack howls died down and the guards returned to their posts, Gamma Josephine slowly made her way back to her private chambers. She knew that she had put herself at risk by defying Alpha Magnus's orders, but she also knew that she had done what was right.
