• “We really didn't have a good relationship in the past when we first got married as we have met only a few times before our marriage” Charlotte hoped that she was correct about the last sentence. She kept going when Sarah did not make any comments, “At first, I was the one trying to get close and speak with him but recently, our relationship has improved. It has improved a lot, if I may add”
• Charlotte was seated opposite Dalton's mother in a high-end hotel. It's been three days since she asked Graham for Dalton's medical records. Sarah had called her the next day, and they scheduled their meeting for the weekend.
• She had been nervous this morning about coming and almost canceled at the last minute. So far so good, Sarah has been as polite as she was during their family dinner the other night. Sarah has not asked about her family saga. Instead, what she was truly interested in was knowing about how she and Dalton's relationship was progressing.
