• Gabriella chuckled at Ben's frustrated expression. "The woman loves sex and believes it's the best therapy," she said with a smile that defused some of Ben's ire. "So... did it work?" she asked quietly.
• Ben glanced up quickly to see her expression. It was just open interest. No jealousy, no fear, or pain. No hurt feelings. Ben felt a bloom of warmth spread through his heart as he gazed at the beautiful woman sitting in front of him. "You keep taking my breath away, Gabriella. I don't deserve you," he said with conviction. "No, they didn't get me into bed. There was no sex... well, not for me, at least."
