Chapter 293

• She gestured he should eat so he took a bite of the pork and it melted in his mouth. He closed his eyes in bliss and enjoyed the flavors. He smiled at her as they ate their meal in happy silence. Once he was done his last bite she rose and cleared the plates. In moments they were in the dishwasher and she was bringing a slice of blueberry pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. He stared at her in surprise. He didn't recall mentioning his favorite dessert but he must have at some point. She had a single scoop of the ice cream.
• Once again when he'd had his last bite she cleared away the plates and the kitchen was clean.
• "Would you care to take a shower or get changed into something more comfortable?" Tina asked.
