• Astrid paced around, her index finger in-between her lips as she bit her nails nervously. She took a slow breath, the cold air hitting her teeth harshly as it was getting darker. Sara was right. The plan had been futile.
• Telling the truth alone would not break Shane, she had to do something else. That was if she ever got out of the dungeon.
• She looked around, the wedding must be over by now. Knowing Shane, he would come soon and ask her about the nuisance she had constituted, because he would never understand, that his mate, Joey, was living in another woman's body.
