• After Tristan killed his man and the blood spilled all over me, I don't know what happened after that. I wasn't even sure what day it was, whether it was the same day or it was possible that I was drugged and days had passed. Being a mafia princess we're raised to know that getting kidnapped by one of our enemies is always a possibility but of course nothing is done to prepare us, we aren't taught how to fight or defend ourselves because the men believe that they will be able to protect us come what may. It's because of that hubris that I'm in this situation right now.
• My uncle Salvador he's the leader of our family and he's the one that arranged my marriage to Drake, saying that he would protect me. A lot of good that did right? I was on vacation and I still fell right into the hands of our number one enemy, Tristan Russo. We've always had a fragile peace with the Russo's, but at least there was peace, but then my uncle got greedy and for the past year, he's been encroaching on Tristan's territory, even killed some of his men, he knew that Tristan would surely retaliate but I don't think he was expecting this.
