• I laid down on the sofa next to Alexei, trying to get some rest while he was asleep. I couldn't get any sleep last night because I was so worried, worried about Damian and also Adam. I tried to close my eyes and get some sleep while Alexei napped, but even though I was so tired, I still couldn't get any rest. Tristan and Damian had been gone for a day now and we hadn't heard anything from them, but it was normal, they would call when they had something to report.
• My phone buzzed on the table and I turned around and picked it up. I looked at the caller ID and it was Adam, I immediately picked it up.
