• I still have no clue why Rose helped Zarina get away in the first place. She knows better than to defy me. And yet there she was, aiding her out and betraying me in the process. A part of me knows that she must have a very good reason to go behind my back and pull an act like this–maybe she was under the impression that what she was doing was the right thing to do–but the truth is that I can’t trust her anymore.
• “The dinner is ready!” one of the maids notifies.
