• The man cocked an eyebrow, a nasty smirk twisting his lips. “Is that a challenge?” he sneered, the dangerous glint in his gaze growing more pronounced.
• Panic set in as Zarina realized that this man would stop at nothing to exact his revenge. She had to do something, anything to save her friend. “What do you want?” she pleaded, her voice trembling with fear. “I’ll do anything you say, but please don’t hurt her. She isn’t responsible for what I did. If you want to punish someone, then punish me. Please! Let her live and go.”
• “Anything I want?” he repeated, his tone dripping with malice. He leaned in closer, his breath hot against her cheek. “I can think of a few things,” he whispered, his lips curving into a wicked grin.
