• Mateo looked at Miracle, who was fast asleep beside him. Last night, Miracle followed Mateo's request to sleep in the same bed. Mateo had enough of sleeping separately. Luckily, Miracle didn't protest as usual. Mateo knew his wife was exhausted from constantly discussing their issues.

• The sound of a ringing phone interrupted them. Mateo immediately shifted his gaze to the phone that kept ringing. He picked it up and looked at the screen. Mateo's forehead furrowed when he saw Gustav's number displayed on the screen. Initially, Mateo didn't want to answer. But the incessant ringing made him slide the green button to answer the call.
