• The ringing of the phone broke the silence inside the car. Mateo, who was focused on driving, shifted his gaze to the phone that kept ringing. At first, he ignored the call, but Miracle immediately asked him to answer. Reluctantly, Mateo picked up his phone and looked at the screen. Instantly, Mateo's face turned annoyed when he saw Orina's number, his mother, appearing on the screen. There was no other choice, if he didn't answer the call, his mother would keep contacting him. Now, Mateo slid the green button to accept the call.
• "Yes, what is it?" Mateo answered coldly as the call connected.
• "Mateo, where are you? Mommy tried to contact Miracle but her phone is not active. Is she with you?" Orina said with a worried tone from the other end of the line.
