Chapter 101 Mutual Symbiosis

Mateo stared at the documents in front of him. He let out a heavy sigh, there were so many papers he had to review. Even though Gustav had already checked them, Mateo still didn't immediately sign them. Usually, he would go back and review every important point in the documents before signing them.
Mateo loosened his tie that was wrapped around his neck. Then he reached for the wine in front of him and took a slow sip. This morning, Mateo left early. The amount of work he had to finish made him leave Miracle with a note placed on the nightstand. As usual, he knew he would get in trouble for leaving Miracle with just a note. Without waiting for his wife to wake up. But what could he do, Mateo couldn't bear to wake up his wife who was already fast asleep.
A knock on the door was heard, Mateo briefly shifted his gaze towards the door. Then, he interrupted to let the person in.
