- She couldn't accept his words because she couldn't be with anyone just for money. Money was fine, but it wasn't everything, especially if she could earn it on her own. Maybe it was absurd that she was supporting that idea in the situation she was in, but she was clear that it was something temporary and her relationships after him would be normal.
- "I could never be with anyone without feeling love, nor am I proud of what I'm doing now. I would stay with someone, even if they didn't have money, if they saw me, loved me, and helped me to the best of their abilities to build a future together," she retorted after seeing the waiter leave and taking a sip from the glass as he had instructed. - "Did the contract at any point say that you couldn't fall in love, or me with you?
