Chapter 452

• The next morning, I snuck out of Angel's room to head back to my room. It was funny that I had to sneak since Angel and I were full grown adults but the circumstances didn't permit us to act like one. As I walked carefully, darting my eyes around for my mum so she didn't see me, I got startled when I saw her coming in my direction. I run into the kitchen to avoid hoping she wasn't coming this way too but I get startled again when I see Scott.
• Scott looks at me suspiciously and I try to act normal.
