Chapter 41 Her New Home

• I woke up, shooting my eyes open, everywhere seemed blurry before my eyes finally cleared to see the white ceiling above me. My head ached, my body was still in pain but I felt comfortable and my hands and legs weren't tied.
• I also realized I was lying on a soft bed, when was the last time I laid in my bed? The scent of the room was soft and nice but it was foreign to me. My room didn't smell like this.
• "You're awake?" I heard a soft feminine voice speak beside me, her tone excited. I struggled through my pain to look beside me from where the voice came and I saw a young lady, probably around my age. She had a bright smile as she looked down on my confused gaze. She wore a cream summer dress and her brown wavy hair fell on both sides of her shoulders. She was beautiful but her face was unfamiliar.
