• I followed Angel to his car ignoring the awkward stares from the guards and the maids peeking through corners at us. I knew they'd tell on me but if being scolded by my mum was what I got for seeing my bestfriend and godson then I'd do it twice more but that in fact wasn't the thing I was worried about, I was breaking the one year rule and I didn't know how my mum would react to it.
• The ride with Angel was filled with tension and a bit awkward for me. I should be jumping into his arms, telling him how much I missed him but it just felt different. More like he was blocking me off. The fact that Lola was in the picture too was something that bothered me greatly. I let down my side of the window, feeling the need for fresh air. It was suffocating in here, him not speaking to me and me not having the courage to start up a conversation.
