• The room was dark but my eyes had settled in the darkness to see the enchanting figure laying on my bed. I got furious when the men brought her in unconscious but they had explained she wouldn't have come otherwise. Knowing Cassie, she was that stubborn to prove them right. I let my fingers caress her cheek softly and the moment I felt her stiffen I pulled away. She turned in bed slightly showing she was back to consciousness.
