• "Angel...." I snapped my head in the direction of the voice. It was Scott coming down the stairs. He had a glint of guilt in his eyes, like he should have told me that Angel was coming.
• I looked away but when I did, my eyes caught Angel's as those pair of eyes stared unapologetically into mine. I quickly looked down shaken from it. Scott got down and stood close to me. I didn't want things to get any more awkward so I decided to say something but then he beat me to it.
