• After hours of exhausting cleaning , we finally settled in for a movie night. The kitchen and playroom were back to normal—or at least as normal as they could be after two overexcited littles had taken over. With the mess taken care of, Zane’s earlier suggestion of ordering pizza felt like the perfect reward.
• Cyrus and Zane were curled up on the couch with their blankets, their bodies partially tangled together as they devoured their slices. Gideon and I sat on the opposite couch, shaking our heads at their enthusiasm.
