• I snorted and dared to catch my breath which was almost sucking out of me. I groaned and was yet to believe that I was in a steamy, pit under the captivity of Lord Mayor. I was yet to believe that Jamole and my mate would team up to plan my kidnap. Warm tears outlined in my eyes before they trickled expressly. What could have inspired my mate, Sasha to join allegiance with Lord Mayor to adopt me like a kitten?
• Jamole chuckled and stared at me from the summit of the pit and then cursed me, “Fool cousin!”
• I glared and snorted before shaking my head in disdain and loss.
