Susan was all tears while speeding away. Although she had agreed to be strong and move on yet reliving her moments with Doctor Sailor had left with heart sores. She was yet to believe she just walked out of a marriage of seven years. She had known Doctor Sailor almost all her life and when they first met at college she had seen that desire to conquer in him. She never saw a shifter. Yes it was true she promised to stand by him at good and bad times but right now this bad time wasn’t budgeted for; she couldn’t stand the super being her husband had turned to; she couldn’t stand sharing roof with an immortal shifter.
Her agreement with Doctor Sailor had been that he would auction the virus, earn enough revenue from it that could make them wealthy all their lives. The plan wasn’t to contaminate himself with the virus; even when Doctor Sailor tried to explain that the immortal virus wasn’t just used to contaminate him and make him a shifter but also to save his life yet she wouldn’t give him a fair hearing.
“You are a bastard doctor sailor!” she wept, slammed on the steering as she drove on.
