The band of shifters shared themselves as a part attacked Sasha while the other part held down Professor Duncan. But there was no stopping them. Sasha’s wolf busied her dentition by munching and eating into the shifters while a few other shifters clawed into her coat and drew blood from her. But they got the shocker of their lives; she got stitched up and healed at first bite.
• Soon the shifters retreated and fell back as they ran away north to the immortality pack.
