Chapter 157 An Eye For An Eye

• Lord Mayor was out with his shifters to divert an English flight and terminate all the human beings that they were on board. Recently that had been his strategy, attacking and terminating human in their numbers just to ensure he drew closer to his mission. Time was running out on him and he wouldn’t want to delay any further about his schemes and plans to send humanity into extinction, which had been his passion and drive from time immemorial.
• Under the watch of Jamole and a handful of shifters Lord Mayor had told Jamole to stay back at the Lord pack while he advanced with the rest of the shifters. In as much as he was out to eradicate humanity, protecting his pack from enemy shifters was his priority and he wouldn’t to return to a pack full of spoil and ruins after enemy packs must have attacked in his absence. So there was need to leave Jamole and a few other shifters to protect the one thousand packs from enemy packs.
• Jamole was strolling down the packs making sure that the shifters manned their rightful position, when he caught sight of Oril in her chamber. And when he dared to fight off thought about a mate that betrayed him, he found himself struggling to look away from her pale, curvaceous body which showed her nakedness in the scarcely lit chamber of Lord Mayor. He swallowed hard as he gazed upon her and he wished he could redeem her from the hands of Lord Mayor.
