• Tom's distress call had come in just when I had been about to read through the anonymous message written on the pizza box. I had been so worried that I forgot all about the pizza and continued pacing around. At some point, I actually did consider calling and reaching out to Emilio for the sake of two scenarios.
• Perhaps, he had Zara with him and was holding onto her just to make me return to him but then I gave it much broader thought. Certainly, Emilio would not want to do that or hurt my friend knowing that would provoke me.
