• HAILEY’S POV
• The mistress, that was all I ever was going to mean to Emilio. The one who comes around to soothe his brooding pain. He did not care about me or my feelings at all as he had made it clear from the onset what I meant to him.
• I could very well recall how we had met and it was really funny that his wife would think it was at the office when I had become his new secretary. No, it was way more than that. When I knew him, he had not been this vengeful and controlling. At least, I for one did not think so. He had been brought to a secret hangout for people with a taste of what we engage in (bondage and dark romance) by his friend and my ex boyfriend, Andrew. I had not expected that Andrew would be there but when I had seen the broken man he had brought with him, I realized that I still had not gotten closure from him after he dumped me in the most embarrassing way possible. I decided that I would weave my way into his friend’s life and make Anadrew jealous. All night, he drank, refusing to be attached to anyone.
