Chapter 24 The Party

• Sunday.
• By morning, Joe was already at her cousin's place. He seemed restless. Thankfully, her cousin had a gold-colored dress, so she didn't need to buy something to wear. As for the men, it was just black and white.
• By afternoon, Joe had already started getting her dressed. He was good at fixing hair and doing makeup because of his job, so he did her hair and makeup. He tied her hair up, leaving a few strands loose. He pinned a large gold flower-shaped hairpin in her hair. She smiled when she saw herself in the mirror.
