Chapter 15 Meet Hannah

• The next day, they decided to meet at their favorite hangout spot for old time's sake. She spent several hours getting ready and changed outfits a few times. Technically, a short and shirt would have worked, but for some reason, she decided to wear a bright orange dress that reached her knees, like something you'd wear in the summer. She looked like a lost high school student in that outfit.
• Joe picked her up. He wasn't with his boyfriend because he had work, and they had agreed that only their group of friends would go so as not to make their partners feel out of place. Joe didn't enter the house but waited for her outside the gate.
• He was surprised by her look and examined her from head to toe.
