• She had been restless all day. It may sound over the top, but she just really wanted to see Brent again, even though they had only been apart for one day. He called earlier, saying that he and his aunt were traveling home.
• She cleaned the house. Her mother even asked why she seemed so fidgety. As usual, her mother left early, taking with her the items she was selling. She had a driver earning wages from selling things in different places. Her mother said she wouldn't be home until tomorrow. She was used to it, especially since her mother sometimes doesn't return for a while when going to places far away for festivals, which attract a lot of people.
• Brent told her they would likely be late because they left around noon. She cooked dinner for them and told him to just have dinner at her place.
