Chapter 12 Hopeful Heart

• She was sitting under the big tree that was their favorite hangout spot. The tree was still very much alive, a witness to the six of them growing up as friends. It had been a long time since the last time they were all complete under that tree.
• She smiled sadly to herself. Now, only she and Nick remained in their area. Eunice had gotten married and had a child. She now lived in Manila because her husband was from there. Katrina was getting married next year and was also in Manila, working as a dentist. Joe was busy with his photography career, getting clients from everywhere. Nick was a DJ at a local radio station and was getting married on Saturday to the daughter of the station owner. As for her, she now had her own printing shop. Her shop was next to her mom's, and she had helped her mom set up the store so she wouldn't have to leave the house every day.
